Research and Original Creative Work

Evidence of Research and Original Creative Work includes the design and production of videodance (dance on the video screen), multimedia theater (dance and video on stage), telematic events (dance via Internet video), dance documentation (dance archived on video), original choreography, and scholarly presentations and publications. Some of these projects, like many initiatives in dance, are not refereed or juried in the traditional sense, but are self-initiated or invited and reflect an acknowledgement of my expertise in the field.

Program of Research and/or Focus of Original Creative Work
My original creative work and research examines the integration of video technologies within the dance sub-genres: videodance, multimedia theater, telematics, and dance documentation. I also, create pure, movement-based choreography utilizing an approach to inventive movement developed by modern dance pioneer Alwin Nikolais.
